Baba is a multi-award winning Pharmacist. He is a passionate advocate for systemic reform, working alongside his wife, Dr. Dupé Akomolafe, to strengthen collaboration between Community Pharmacy and General Practice. Baba is known for his visionary grassroots leadership and commitment to improving the collective capacity of Community Pharmacy.

Conor is a national leader in primary care innovation, with over a decade of experience driving transformation across General Practice, Community Pharmacy, and Integrated Care Systems. As owner of CoreHealth Partners, through which he is Chief Executive for Community Pharmacy London, and Chief Information Officer for primary care organisations, where he leads data and digital strategy across multiple NHS sectors.

With deep frontline insight and a strong track record of delivering scalable solutions, Conor advises ICSs, primary care collaboratives, and national bodies on using data and technology to improve care, efficiencies, and is known for challenging outdated models in favour of practical innovation.

Dupé is a Health and Social Care entrepreneur with over two decades of NHS General Practice experience.

Since June 2022, Dupé has worked full time as a Private GP alongside her husband Baba Akomolafe running the multi-award winning Christchurch Pharmacy and Clinics. She is a strong advocate for closer collaboration between General Practice and Community Pharmacy and is passionate about unlocking the full potential of Community Pharmacy as a Healthcare hub.

James joined Community Pharmacy England in 2001 and is a member of its Executive Leadership Team. He works with pharmacy owners and the 50 Local Pharmaceutical Committees (LPCs) to promote the value of community pharmacy and support sector sustainability. He led a three-year programme transforming LPC representation and governance. A pharmacist since 2004, James has experience as a pharmacy owner, Superintendent Pharmacist, and CEO, and is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

Janet Morrison joined Community Pharmacy England as CEO in March 2022. Community Pharmacy England promotes and supports all NHS community pharmacies in England and negotiates with DHSC and NHSE&I on their behalf on the contractual framework and related policy and regulatory issues.

Janet is an experienced leader in the public and not-for-profit sectors, working on strategy, national policy influencing and campaigning including in health and social care. She has held a number of other senior strategy and policy roles in public bodies and the BBC as well as several non-exec Chair roles.

Jay is a qualified pharmacist and holds an MBA. His exposure to community pharmacy at Day Lewis spreads over 4 decades, through which he’s obtained internal experience at every possible level and scenario.

Jay is elected on the Community Pharmacy England board as a Multiple Chemist Representative and regularly advices Senior Government on Pharmacy related matters.
As Executive Director at Day Lewis Plc, Jay leads the business alongside Rupa Patel and Sam Patel. He is responsible for Retail Strategy and Innovation. His vision is to essentially join up great people, with effective and professional processes, using robust technology to give patients the best possible experience and outcomes.

Liz joined NHS England as a Senior Professional Advisor in March 2022, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK from 2019 to 2022. She has held regional roles within Health Education England, including Associate Dean for Quality, Interim Pharmacy Dean, and Associate Head of Pharmacy. Liz has worked with the General Pharmaceutical Council as an Education Associate and held operational leadership roles across pharmacy sectors. She advises the UK Pharmacy Professional Leadership Advisory Board and the Department of Health Northern Ireland.

Luvjit is a qualified pharmacist and Director of Strategy and Pharmacy Transformation at Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester. She chairs the GM Community Pharmacy Provider Board and GM Primary Care Provider Board, supporting system-wide transformation and collaboration across health and social care. Awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2017, she recently completed an MBA. Luvjit has extensive experience across community, hospital, and industry pharmacy, including leadership roles at Community Pharmacy England, LPCs, and NHS Digital. Her work focuses on advancing pharmacy strategy, workforce development, innovation, and representing pharmacists’ interests within integrated local systems.

Olivier is an award-winning community pharmacist, independent prescriber, and pharmacy owner with over 25 years’ experience. Trained in France, where he obtained a PhD, he has spent most of his career in the UK. After six years as Pharmacy Area Manager at Moss Pharmacy, he founded Newdays Pharmacy Ltd. in 2006, which now operates four community pharmacies across Berkshire.

Olivier played a leading role in establishing one of the UK’s largest pharmacy-led Covid-19 vaccination centres. He has advocated for community pharmacy nationally for over a decade, regularly contributes to publications and broadcast media, engages with MPs on policy, and serves as Chair of the NPA.

Olivier won Pharmacy Business of the Year in 2022.

Patrick is a third-generation leader at Gompels. Under his guidance, Gompels, a Wiltshire cornerstone since 1967, won Pharmacy Business of the Year 2023, recognised for its pioneering use of technology and service-led approach. Patrick also spearheads the national Homeward Pharmacy operation and the company’s 28-year partnership with Nutricia, recently earning Supplier of the Year from Danone UK&I. He is currently involved in supporting the expansion plans of sister company, Gompels Healthcare, a leading national wholesaler. A vocal industry advocate, Patrick focuses on harnessing technology to support service provision and patient-centric care.

Shailesh R Solanki is Executive Editor of Asian Media Group, (AMG), Britain’s biggest Asian publishing house.

Shailesh graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University College, London and has over 30 years’ experience in consumer and business journalism.

He has chronicled the progress of the Asian community in the group’s various publications which include Pharmacy Business Eastern Eye newspaper, Garavi Gujarat newsweekly, Asian Trader, The Asian Rich List and GG2 Power List.

Shailesh is responsible for the editorial direction of the group’s titles, the group’s events division and its US business which is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shilpa is an award-winning leader in the Community Pharmacy sector with nearly 27 years’ experience. A practising pharmacist and Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, she serves as a Board Advisor and Advocate for the Inclusive Pharmacy Practice Advisory Board, chaired by David Webb, CPhO (NHS England), and is a member of the UK Pharmacy Professional Leadership Advisory Board. She is also Head Judge for the Pharmacy Business Awards and holds senior voluntary roles with Samaritans, Pharmacist Support and Crisis at Christmas.

Sukhi is an independent prescribing pharmacist, healthcare entrepreneur, and Vice Chair of the National Pharmacy Association. She is a partner in the family-run Clinichem Pharmacy in Victoria, London, where she delivers NHS services and runs her private practice, The London PharmaClinic. With over 27 years’ experience across community pharmacy, GP practice, PCN roles, LPC, CPE committee membership, and national leadership, Sukhi is known for blending clinical rigour with thoughtful innovation. A respected voice on pharmacy sustainability, leadership, and personalised care, she champions what she calls “science, with soul.” Sukhi is also the Pharmacy Business Inspiring Woman of the Year awarded at the 2025 Pharmacy Business Awards.

Sunil Chandarana is a pharmacist, pharmacy business adviser, and recognised sector leader with over 25 years’ experience spanning community pharmacy, ownership, and strategic advisory roles. He works closely with pharmacy owners to help them understand value, plan for growth, and make informed decisions about the future of their businesses.

Sunil is the founder of AlphaRize, a pharmacist-led platform focused on ethical pharmacy transitions, combining traditional values of integrity and personalised service with modern commercial insight. Through his work, he supports and influences pharmacy owners navigating succession, growth, and an increasingly complex commercial landscape.

In 2025, Sunil was awarded Pharmacy Business of the Year, recognising his leadership and impact within the pharmacy sector.
